INTERNAL SUFFERING was formed in 1996, since then, the band has been worldwide known for its intense, brutal fast and technical brand of Death Metal, releasing 4 full length albums to date: “Supreme Knowledge Domain” (2000-REPULSE RECORDS/Spain), “Chaotic Matrix” (2002-DISPLEASED RECORDS/Holland), “Choronzonic Force Domination” (2004-DISPLEASED RECORDS/Holland) and “Awakening of the Rebel” (2006-UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS/USA).
Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL/ex-MORBID ANGEL) stepped in for the production of the band’s latest 2 albums at famous MANA RECORDING STUDIOS in Florida (CANNIBAL CORPSE, DEICIDE, NILE, VITAL REMAINS, etc.), taking the underground by storm with some of the fastest yet most technical Death Metal records ever in the form of “Awakening of the Rebel”.
Live-wise, INTERNAL SUFFERING has toured extensively around the world, doing tours in America, Europe and Asia, playing next to bands such as CANNIBAL CORPSE, SODOM, INCANTATION, EXODUS, ORIGIN, among many more. The band also did one of the most extensive tours for an underground album, playing more than 80 shows in 3 months in support of their critically acclaimed 2nd album “Chaotic Matrix”.
As this was not enough, the band has played the majority of the most important extreme metal fests around the globe such as MARYLAND DEATHFEST (USA), OHIO DEATH FEST (USA), CENTRAL ILLINOIS METAL FEST (USA), EXTREME FEST (Ger/Aus/Swi), NEUROTIC DEATH FEST (Ger), BARROSELAS METAL FEST (Por), TOKYO DEATH FEST (Jap), BANGKOK DEATHFEST (Tha), FUCK THE COMMERCE FEST (Ger), BANDS BATTLE FESTIVAL (Ger), OBSCENE EXTREME FESTIVAL (Czech Rep.), KALTENBACH OPEN AIR FEST (Aus), among tons more. Last year, the band had the chance to play the biggest open air fest in Latin America and the 3rd one in the world, ROCK AT THE PARK in Colombia in front of +100.000 headbangers! Also played the CONVIVENCIA ROCK FEST in South America in front of +30.000 that same year!
Currently relocated to Madrid (SPAIN), INTERNAL SUFFERING are ready to hit the studio to unleash their long awaited 5th full length album after a hiatus, then embark on a worldwide tour to play as many shows and festivals as possible in support of the new album at the best of the band’s capabilities!
